We welcome our pupils, staff and parents to the final and last term of the academic year 2019. This will be a very short term but full of activities.

We thank God for giving us an opportunity to diligently and sincerely serve our pupils. We extend the same to our parents for having confidence in us. We encourage all to team up and to help us to close the year 2019 in style!

Please note the following term dates, reminders and highlights:-

TERM DATES

Tune Up Exams: Wednesday 4^th Sept – Friday 6^th Sept 2019
Class Seven Secondary Schools Selections: Saturday 7^th Sept, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00 noon.
Mid-Term Exams: Wednesday 25^th Sept – Friday 27^th Sept, 2019.
End-Month Break: Thursday 3^rd Oct – Friday 4^th Oct 2019. N.B: Class six and seven pupils in boarding will be picked on Wednesday 2^nd Oct, 2019 at 4:00pm and are expected back to school on Monday 7^th October, 2019 by 7:30am as the rest of the school. Class 8 pupils will not have this break.
Pre-Primary 2 Transition Meeting: Friday 11^th Oct, 2019 from 5:00pm
Bursary Fund Walk: Saturday 12^th October, 2019 at 8:30am
End of Year Exams: Wednesday 16^th October – Friday 18^th Oct, 2019
Mashujaa Day: Sunday 20^th and Monday 21^st Oct, 2019.
Closing Day/Graduation Ceremony: Thursday 24^th Oct, 2019 at 9:00am
KCPE National Exam: Monday 28^th Oct – Thursday 31^st Oct, 2019.
Parents/Teachers Open Day: Tuesday 5^th Nov, 2019 from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Term one 2020 Opening Dates: Old Pupils – Tuesday 7^th Jan, 2020/ New Pupils – Wednesday 8^th Jan, 2020

Cathsam has done it again! Our two pupils Sharlyrose Wanjala and Nevan Kiptala have been awarded for participating in an Environment Competition organised by the Giraffe Centre. Congratulations!

We are grateful to God for giving us another opportunity to serve. As parents we have been given a chance to continue supporting our children as they climb the academic ladder, while as teachers we have an opportunity to guide our learners to realize their full potential so that their dreams can come true. We all remain committed to this course because it is the right thing to do. I therefore welcome our pupils, staff and parents to the year of hard work! I call upon all of us to start strong and on a very high note and work hard to maintain that trajectory up to the end of the year.

Thanks giving/Prize Giving: Friday 8^th Feb, 2019 at 8.30 a.m

K.G Fun Day: Saturday 16^th Feb, 2019 from 8.00 a.m

Mid-Term Exams: Monday 18^th Feb, to Wednesday 20^th Feb, 2019

Mid-Term Break: Thursday 21^th Feb and Friday 22^nd Feb, 2019. All pupils in boarding School will be picked by their Parents/Guardians on Wed 20^th Feb, 2019 at 4.00 pm and are expected back to school on Monday 25^th February, 2019 at 7.30 a.m as the rest of the school.

Lower School Fun Day: Saturday 16^th March, 2019 from 8.00 a.m

Cathsam School held a very colorful and successful closing ceremony on Thursday 25th October 2018. Various presentations and speeches were made as we celebrated 20 year of excellent service. To God be all the glory!

The Cathsam School Bursary Fund Walk 2018 was successfully held on Saturday 13th October 2018. We thank our pupils, the parents and other guests for your support and participation in this noble event. May God bless you richly.

As part of our social responsibility, and as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, the Cathsam School staff members visited various children’s homes and Nyumba za Wazee to donate a few items and be with them for a while, on Saturday 11th August 2018.
