Cathsam School Second Annual Cultural and Art Day, at Kamulu Campus on 2nd April, 2026!
The Annual Cultural Tapestry Event is focused on embracing our Cultural Heritage. It is not just about living in the past but to understand the Foundation upon which our Future is built. For our learners, knowing their roots provides a vital sense of Belonging and Identity in an increasingly globalised world. Our learners get to know that their history has value. It also builds their self-image and the confidence to move through the world with grace and pride.
Finally came electric surge of pride as the Cultural Tapestry festival reached its breathtaking moments, weaving together a day of vibrant heritage into a seamless masterpiece of unity.
After hours of rhythmic drumming, colourful traditional attire, and the shared spirit of a community honouring its roots, the atmosphere shifted from festive celebration to hushed anticipation for the event’s most prestigious tradition. The success of the entire showcase was etched on every smiling face, but the ultimate triumph belonged to the newly crowned , #MrandMissCathsam2026, who stepped forward amidst a shower of applause and glittering confetti. Their coronation served as the perfect final stitch in the tapestry, symbolizing not just individual grace, but the bright, enduring future of the culture they now so proudly represent.
